Flipster provides access to magazines through the UC Merced Library. You can access Flipster via a web browser or the Flipster app. The Flipster app allows you to save issues and download magazines to read offline, anytime, anywhere.

Using Flipster Online

Log onto Flipster OR search for Flipster in the Library’s database list.

Technical Requirements:

  • Not on campus? Off-campus access requires VPN
  • Flipster works best with the latest or one previous version of your favorite web browser, with a recommended screen resolution of 1024 x 768
  • Flipster uses JavaScript and requires that cookies are enabled

Online Use:

  • Search for titles by keyword, or browse by category, latest issues, and all issues
  • In the Library? Check out an iPad mini at the 2nd floor Services Desk and look for the Flipster shortcut on the home screen
