What is SCR?

SCR stands for Supplemental Course Resources. 

The SCR Program provides online access to supplemental course materials by making them available through UCMCROPS (aka Sakai).

Through the SCR program, we assist faculty by:

  • digitizing book chapters, articles, etc. as supplemental materials for courses
  • ensuring that supplemental materials comply with principles of fair use and copyright
  • posting digitized materials to UCMCROPS
  • paying for reasonable copyright compliances fees when necessary
