Students lose remote access to electonic resources soon after they graduate or are otherwise separated from UC Merced because UCM Net IDs become inactive and the VPN will no longer connect them to the campus network. However, graduates are welcome to bring their own laptops to the library and connect to the guest network to access resources from on campus.
