There are multiple options for creating bibliographies for your research papers.  In databases like Academic Search Complete, for example, there are tools to help you copy and paste correctly formatted citations. Look for links or icons in databases that say Cite to access these tools.

You can also use RefWorks, a citation management tool provided by the library. RefWorks will create bibliographies for you based on citation information that you have imported from databases. For more information on using RefWorks go to  http://library.ucmerced.edu/research/students/improve.
