If the local copy of the book you want is already checked out, you can recall it or get it through Interlibrary Loan.
- Find the book in UC Library Search , the catalog for all UC libraries
- If the local copy is checked out and a copy is not available as an eBook, you will see the option to Place Hold or Interlibrary Loan Request
- Place Hold means that the library will recall the book (there is no guarantee the book will be returned).
- Interlibrary loan request will take you to a request form to get the book from another campus. This is often faster than recalling the book from another patron.
